The Beach
I sat down and sent a message to the other half of Train or Die.
He called and asked what I was doing.
"Sitting on the beach waiting on the rest of the family to get up."
"I'll be quick because the beach is more important."
The truth is sometimes hidden.
And the world moving too fast
But the important stuff is always there.
There is a calling to the sand, the waves, and the wind.
No matter what sand castles are constructed, holes dug, or items washed up....they always go back.
Returned to the sea like they were never there.
Pay attention while you can.
Enjoy the short time.
Because very soon it'll be washed away and returned.
Look around, if you're lucky enough you'll sit with legends.
Talk to the old timers.
Listen to their stories.
These are moments lost in time.
If we don't pass those stories on the lessons aren't learned, mistakes not corrected, and opportunities missed.
Always forward, always moving.
